First Help Tech – Repair Warranty Policy
1. Overview
At First Help Tech, we are committed to providing professional, reliable, and transparent repair services for phones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, and other electronic devices. This Repairs Warranty Policy explains the coverage we provide after a repair, the duration of warranty depending on the type of part used, what is excluded, and how customers can make a claim.
This policy applies to all repairs carried out by First Help Tech.
2. Warranty Duration
The length of warranty depends on the type of replacement part used during the repair:

12 Months Warranty – for repairs where original parts are supplied and fitted by First Help Tech.

3 Months Warranty – for repairs where generic/aftermarket parts are used.
The warranty period begins on the date the repair is completed and the device is returned to the customer.
3. What’s Covered
Our repair warranty covers both the specific part(s) replaced and the workmanship of the repair.
Covered under warranty:

Defective replacement parts installed by First Help Tech

Workmanship errors by our technicians

Repeat faults directly related to the original repair
4. What’s Not Covered
The following situations are excluded from warranty coverage:

Physical or Accidental Damage

Cracked screens, dents, or water damage occurring after the repair

Damage caused by drops, pressure, bending, or misuse

Unrelated or Pre-Existing Issues

Problems not connected to the original repair (e.g., logic board failure after a battery replacement)

Issues that were present before the repair but not resolved by the service requested

Unauthorized Tampering

Any attempt by a third party to open, modify, or repair the device after our service

Use of the device with incompatible chargers, batteries, or accessories

Normal Wear & Tear

Expected battery capacity decline over time

Cosmetic scratches, marks, or other signs of everyday use

Water or Environmental Damage
-
Corrosion, liquid ingress, or damage caused by extreme heat/cold

5. Warranty Conditions
To qualify for warranty service:

The repair must have been performed by First Help Tech technicians

The warranty period (12 months for original parts, 3 months for generic parts) must still be valid
-
The issue must be directly related to the original repair and not caused by external factors
-
The device must show no signs of additional damage, tampering, or misuse since the repair
👉 Customers are advised to test their device at the time of collection to ensure full functionality.
6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Repair receipt or order number

Description of the issue

Photos or videos (if applicable)

Inspection
The device must be returned to our shop for inspection by our technical team. -
Resolution

If the issue is covered, we will repair or replace the part at no extra cost.

If the part is no longer available, we may offer an alternative solution such as store credit or partial refund.

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will provide a repair quote before proceeding.

7. Limitations of Liability
Our repair warranty is limited strictly to the replacement part(s) and workmanship provided by First Help Tech. It does not extend to:

Any additional or unrelated faults developing after the repair

Data loss (we strongly recommend backing up devices before repair)

Costs of third-party repairs attempted after our service

Indirect or consequential losses arising from device failure
8. Policy Updates
This Repairs Warranty Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will apply to repairs carried out after the updated policy is published.
