2. Warranty Duration

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all items sold by First Help Tech come with a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.

3. Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that affect the function of the product under normal use.

Covered Items Include:

  • Internal components of replacement parts (e.g., ICs, flex cables, connectors)

  • Tools and repair instruments with operational faults

  • Display assemblies (screens, touch panels) with non-user-induced defects

  • Batteries not holding charge (within capacity specs)

  • Cables, adapters, or accessories with non-functional wiring

4. Warranty Exclusions

The following are NOT covered under this warranty:

Installation Damage

  • Damage caused during installation (e.g., cracked LCDs, torn flex cables)

  • Misalignment or forced fitting into incompatible devices

⚠️ Please do not install or use the item before testing. Any physical damage reported after installation or use WILL NOT BE COVERED.

Wear and Tear

  • Scratches, dents, abrasions, or other cosmetic damage

  • Reduced battery performance due to aging/use over time

User-Caused or Environmental Damage

  • Water damage, corrosion, or exposure to extreme temperatures

  • Electrical shorts due to improper use

Third-Party Tampering

  • Modifications, soldering, or attempted repairs done by non-authorized technicians

  • Use of the part in unsupported or modified devices

Compatibility Issues

  • Issues arising from incorrect model selection or mismatched parts

  • We encourage customers to verify compatibility before purchase or contact us for support

5. Warranty Conditions

To qualify for a warranty claim, the item must:

  • Be purchased directly from FirstHelpTech

  • Be within the 12-month warranty period

  • Show no signs of improper handling, installation, or external damage

We highly recommend testing all parts prior to full installation when possible (especially screens and logic boards).

6. How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact Us
    Email: info@firsthelptech.ie with:

    • Your order number

    • Product name or SKU

    • Clear description of the issue

    • Photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable)

  2. Initial Review
    Our technical team will assess the provided evidence and may request further testing steps or return of the item.

  3. Resolution
    If the item is confirmed as faulty due to a manufacturing defect:

    • We will send a replacement part free of charge

    • Or, where applicable, offer a store credit or refund (at our discretion)

We may request the faulty item to be returned for inspection. Return shipping is covered by the customer unless agreed otherwise.

7. Limitations of Liability

This warranty is limited to the replacement or refund of the defective product only. FirstHelpTech is not responsible for:

  • Reimbursement of labor or installation costs

  • Damage to devices caused by defective or misused parts

  • Any indirect or consequential losses

8. Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Warranty Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and apply to purchases made after the policy is updated.
