The Philips TAM4205M2/12 Micro Music System is a compact home Hi-Fi system designed for powerful stereo listening from CDs, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB drives, and external audio sources. With 80W RMS output, 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, and app-based sound controls, it is suitable for living rooms, offices, and larger open spaces. 

- 80W RMS stereo output — delivers a maximum 80W RMS through a 2.0-channel speaker configuration, providing substantially more power than the 20W sometimes shown in retailer product titles. Philips officially specifies this model at 80W RMS.

- 2-way bass-reflex speakers — two bookshelf speakers each combine a 4-inch woofer and 0.75-inch tweeter, with bass-reflex ports for stronger low-frequency response.

- Integrated CD player — supports standard CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3-CD playback, including repeat, shuffle, track programming, and forward/reverse controls.

- Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio — stream music wirelessly from compatible smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth devices. The system supports SBC and LC3 codecs and has a specified line-of-sight Bluetooth range of up to 30m.

- Auracast support — can broadcast audio to multiple compatible Auracast speakers, allowing music from the micro system to be distributed to other supported speakers around the home.

- FM digital radio — built-in FM mono/stereo tuner features automatic scanning, digital tuning, 20 station presets, and RDS support.

- USB music playback — connect a USB flash drive directly to play compatible digital music files. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC, with support up to 24-bit/48kHz.

- 3.5mm audio input — connect external audio equipment such as portable music players or a suitably equipped turntable through the AUX/audio-in connection.

- Digital Sound Control — choose between Powerful, Clear, Bright, Warm, and Balanced sound modes, with bass and treble adjustment and a custom equalizer available through the companion app.

- Philips Entertainment app control — compatible smartphones and tablets can be used to select sources and adjust supported sound settings.

- Clock, alarm and sleep timer — includes a 12/24-hour clock, sleep timer, and alarm functionality using CD, FM, or USB as the audio source.

- Compact home Hi-Fi design — the main unit measures 220 × 105 × 231mm, while each speaker measures 148 × 240 × 203mm. Complete system weight is approximately 5.3kg.
