How can you replace the phone screen?
Abroken screen is one of the most disappointing smartphone failures. One hard fall can result in a repair that will cost a third of the cost of the gadget or even more. Moreover, a screen replacement is one of the most addressed problems to the service centers. You can either have your cell phone screen replaced by a professional cell phone repair service (which we strongly recommend) or, if you have a bit of technical savvy, you can do it yourself.
WARNING: No matter how tech-savvy you are, repairing your screen yourself always runs the risk of damaging your device and likely void any warranties and insurance claims. Be sure you know what you're doing and accept associated risks before you try to replace your cell phone screen. In addition, always make sure your device is unplugged and turned off before you begin repairs.
Can you replace a broken screen with your own hands?
Definitely Yes! Even though each phone is different and the procedure of replacing the screen is very different, the process of screen replacement follows the same general steps:
1.Unplug and turn off your device.
2. Separate the screen from the rear case.
3. Disconnect various cables and remove screws.
4. Replace the old screen with a new one.
5. Reassemble back your phone.
This is a very simplified set of instructions, and of course, the process is way more complex. That is why, due to the unicity of each device and its way of being built, it is better to look for specific instructions for your exact phone model.
